The success of the Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership can be traced back to our great volunteers. There are a variety of ways to help the downtown, some as short-term as one afternoon. Adopt-a-Planter

In 2008, 47 businesses stepped forward to care and maintain the planters throughout the district though the Adopt-a-Planter program.  You will see many of these planters throughout the downtown area.

This year the DFP plans to invest in the following beautification projects:

• New “Welcome to Downtown” signs at the north and south ends of the district
• New light pole banners to be installed this spring
• Updated kiosk in Main Street Plaza
• New permanent way finding maps in various downtown locations
• New permanent Farmer’s Market signage at both the Saturday and Wednesday Markets
